Gift Voucher Policy

Gift vouchers are available as both physical gift vouchers and electronic gift vouchers (eGift cards) for eligible Holistic Soul Space services. By purchasing, receiving or using a Holistic Soul Space gift voucher, the voucher holder agrees to the terms set out below together with the Holistic Soul Space Terms and Conditions.

1. What gift vouchers can be used for

  • Gift vouchers may be redeemed against the Holistic Soul Space service specified on the voucher. Where a voucher is issued for Reiki with Crystal Energy, the voucher may, at the voucher holder’s request, be exchanged for an equivalent Reiki session without Crystal Energy.
  • A voucher for Reiki with Crystal Energy cannot be exchanged for:
    • Crystal Energy sessions
    • QHHT
    • other therapies or services
    • products or jewellery
    • cash
    • any other service not specifically permitted by this policy.
  • A voucher issued specifically for another service can only be used for that service unless Holistic Soul Space agrees otherwise in writing.

2. Transfer of vouchers

  • Gift vouchers may be transferred to another person.
  • The original purchaser does not need to be the person who ultimately uses the voucher.
  • Once transferred, the voucher may be used by the new recipient, subject to these terms and conditions.
  • Gift vouchers cannot be resold for profit or used as a commercial promotional instrument without prior written agreement from Holistic Soul Space.

3. Physical and electronic vouchers

  • Both physical gift vouchers and eGift cards are subject to the same terms and conditions.
  • An eGift card may be supplied electronically to the purchaser or directly to the intended recipient.
  • The voucher holder is responsible for keeping the voucher or voucher details secure.
  • Holistic Soul Space cannot accept responsibility for a voucher that has been copied, shared or used by an unauthorised person where the voucher details have been obtained by someone other than the intended recipient.

4. Voucher validity

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, unless a different validity period is clearly stated on the voucher.
  • The expiry date will be shown on the physical voucher or communicated with the eGift card.
  • A voucher must be redeemed and the relevant service booked before the expiry date.
  • Expired vouchers have no monetary value and cannot normally be redeemed.
  • Where exceptional circumstances have prevented a voucher from being used before its expiry date, Holistic Soul Space may, at its discretion, agree to extend the validity period. Any extension must be agreed before the voucher is considered cancelled or expired.

5. Booking a service using a voucher

  • A voucher is not itself a booking.
  • The voucher holder must contact Holistic Soul Space to arrange a suitable appointment.
  • All appointments remain subject to availability and the Holistic Soul Space booking, cancellation and rescheduling terms.
  • The normal cancellation policy applies to appointments booked using a gift voucher.
  • If a voucher holder fails to attend an appointment or cancels within a period where the normal cancellation policy would result in the session being forfeited, the voucher may be treated as redeemed.

6. No cash alternative

  • Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or a cash equivalent.
  • No cash change will be given where the value of the voucher exceeds the value of the service being redeemed.
  • The voucher cannot be used to obtain a cash refund for any unused balance.

7. Additional payment

  • Where the value of the selected service exceeds the value of the voucher, the voucher holder may pay the difference using an accepted payment method.
  • Where a voucher is exchanged for Reiki without Crystal Energy and the Reiki only session has a lower value than the original voucher, the remaining difference is not refundable or transferable as cash.

8. Price changes

  • A gift voucher entitles the holder to the service specified on the voucher, subject to the terms applying to that voucher.
  • If the price of the relevant service changes after a voucher has been purchased, the voucher will continue to be honoured according to the terms stated on the voucher.
  • Where the current price of the service is higher than the value of the voucher, the voucher holder may pay the difference.

9. Complimentary and Charity Prize Vouchers

  • Holistic Soul Space may provide complimentary vouchers as prizes, donations or promotional gifts to charities, community organisations, events, fundraisers or other organisations.
  • These vouchers are provided free of charge and will be clearly identified as complimentary, promotional or charity prize vouchers.
  • Unless specifically stated otherwise on the voucher:
    • they cannot be exchanged for cash
    • they cannot be refunded
    • they cannot be used towards the purchase of another voucher
    • they are transferable to another person
    • they are subject to the stated expiry date
    • they can only be used for the service specified on the voucher
    • where the voucher is for Reiki with Crystal Energy, it may be exchanged for Reiki without Crystal Energy but not for any other service or product.
  • Any special conditions attached to a particular charity or promotional voucher will be stated on that voucher and will form part of the terms of use.

10. Lost or damaged physical vouchers

  • A physical gift voucher should be treated as cash and kept safely.
  • Where a physical voucher is lost or damaged, Holistic Soul Space may be able to verify and reissue the voucher where sufficient information is available to confirm its validity and ownership.
  • Holistic Soul Space cannot guarantee replacement of a lost voucher.

11. Refunds for purchased vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are not normally refundable once purchased, except where a refund is required by law.
  • This does not affect any statutory rights the purchaser may have.
  • Any applicable statutory cancellation rights for an online or distance purchase will be dealt with in accordance with applicable consumer law.

12. Cancellation or closure of a service

  • If Holistic Soul Space becomes unable to provide the specific service for which a valid voucher was issued, the voucher holder will be offered an appropriate alternative or other remedy where required by law.

13. Age restrictions

  • Services redeemed using a gift voucher remain subject to age restrictions, suitability and consent requirements applicable to that service.
  • In particular, QHHT is strictly available to clients aged 18 and over.
  • Where a voucher is being redeemed by a young person, the Holistic Soul Space Children and Young People Policy will also apply.

14. Other terms

  • Gift vouchers are subject to the Holistic Soul Space Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and any service specific terms that apply to the service being booked.
  • Nothing in this Gift Voucher Policy is intended to exclude or restrict any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
  • Holistic Soul Space reserves the right to refuse a voucher where there is reasonable evidence that it has been altered, duplicated, fraudulently obtained or otherwise misused.
