Preparing for Your BQH Session

Beyond Quantum Healing (BQH) is a powerful, deep healing method that was developed by Candace Craw-Goldman, a former student and assistant of Dolores Cannon and Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) practitioner. BQH is a holistic healing modality that builds on QHHT’s strong foundation and combines a variety of hypnosis, spiritual and metaphysical techniques that promote healing on all levels. It allows me to work fluidly, utilising my own intuition, inner knowing and spiritual abilities as I accompany you in your process of accessing your own inner wisdom.

During quantum hypnosis you will be lead into an altered state of consciousness, where your awareness is expanded and heightened. This expanded state allows you to access a deeper level of consciousness where your Higher Self, inner wisdom, memories, and personal insights can be explored. As we grow up, conditioning from society, family, and life experiences can cause us to disconnect from parts of who we truly are. Beneath that conditioning still exists your intuition, inner knowing, capacity for healing, love, understanding, and the unique gifts and strengths that you may have forgotten or overlooked. Quantum hypnosis can help you reconnect with these deeper aspects of yourself, allowing you to access the insight, clarity, and inner resources that are most important for your growth and healing at this time. It can help you to remember your own sovereignty and step into your own power.

Conscious Awareness

For years, the conscious mind of Dolores Cannon’s clients shifted to such an extent that most of them had no memory of their session. Over the last 15 years, as Earth’s frequency has risen and humanity’s evolution has sped up, most quantum hypnosis clients are consciously aware of what they are experiencing throughout the session and remember most of their experience. You may be surprised at how consciously aware you are but it’s important that don’t try to analyse what is happening as you’ll bring your conscious mind forward and stop the process

Set an Intention

The session is entirely guided by you, you are entirely in control at all times. I simply accompany and guide you on your journey, asking questions to allow you to make sense of your experience. I hold space for you to connect with your Higher Self and access everything that you need. To get the most from your session it is really important that you set an intention for the process. What is it that you really want to get answers to or get assistance with? Your intention guides the experience you will have. Your intention may also lead you to questions that you wish to ask your Higher Self. If you have specific questions, please prepare your questions in the days, perhaps weeks, running up to your session and if you’re having an in-person session, bring a written/printed copy of them with you. If you’re having an online session, please send me them the evening before so that I can print them out for the session.

Composing your Questions

Questions are not necessary, it’s the intention that is key to the whole process. However, if you do have questions, 10 to 12 questions is ideal. This allows the session to flow and lets you get the most of the experience in the timeframe. Your questions will likely relate to your intention and might be about your health, your life, your purpose, your relationships, your work, or any strange experiences you might have had. Or they might be about the deeper mysteries of life, consciousness, and our connection to the Universe. The very best sessions are those where the client thinks deeply about what they want to get from the session and is focused on that intention when thinking about the questions they want to ask. It’s common for some questions to arise during the chat, and I’ll add these to your list. Please do not search for questions on the internet as they are not your questions.

Preparing Yourself

Revisit your intention for the session in the run up to your session as more questions might arise in the days before the session. Please try to get a good sleep the night before your session so that you arrive refreshed and ready. It’s also important that you eat a healthy breakfast as it will be several hours before you’ll get the opportunity to eat again. However, nothing too heavy so that you feel comfortable during your session. Don’t drink alcoholic or caffeinated beverages before the session, or even, the evening before, if possible. If you are a regular morning coffee drinker, please don’t skip your coffee, but go easy and keep it to a minimum before your session.

Light exercise prior to your appointment, like a long walk, is an excellent way to prepare for a successful session. This is another good time to repeat your intention. We want your body relaxed, but your mind quiet and alert and engaged.

As much as possible, clear your day for the session. We begin by talking, going over the process and your intention and questions. Then you get comfortable and relaxed and we begin the actual hypnotic “regression.” Afterwards, we go over what was experienced, and we make sure you are awake and grounded for the rest of your day.

It is generally not a good idea to have additional appointments after your session or plan a long drive ahead of you (unless you are in the passenger seat). Having a BQH session is very much like participating in a long, very detailed and involved daydream. You really will feel as if you have just returned from an amazing journey, having visited other worlds and lifetimes, and in fact, you will have done just exactly that. It is best to have some time to process your experience and give yourself an opportunity to fully return to your regular conscious day-to-day reality before attempting any complex mental tasks or strenuous physical activity.

For the Session

Clothing—your comfort is key. You remain fully clothed throughout the treatment. Wear soft, comfortable clothing that does not restrict you. Also remove any jewellery that could bother or distract you during your treatment. Wear or bring a pair of warm socks to prevent your feet from getting cold. You will be asked to remove your shoes for the duration of the hypnosis part of the session.

Arrival—please be on time so that you do not feel rushed. The session is strictly 1 to 1 for your privacy. It is not possible for anyone to attend your appointment with you.

Your BQH Session

The entire process typically takes 4-5 hours, of which, you will be under hypnosis and in an altered state of awareness for around 2 hours or a little longer. It never feels this long at the time.

The Interview

During the first part of the session we will have a chat and get to know each other. I will ask you to tell me about yourself and your life, any health issues you might have and any habits you have that you would like to control better. We will discuss the intention that you set for the session and go over all the questions that you brought with you. I will explain the process and help you get the most from the session. This part of the process typically takes around 1-2 hours.

The Hypnosis

When the time is right, I will then guide you into an altered state of awareness through hypnosis. Hypnosis is just a really relaxed state, you won’t do anything you don’t want to do. Throughout the first part of the session your Higher Self will take you on a journey to see and experience whatever is important for you to experience in that moment. You will never experience anything that you can’t handle. You are always safe and in control at all times. It’s really important that you are open and allow your Higher Self to help you.

Do Not Set Expectations

Your Higher Self might take you to one or more past or parallel lives or you might be taken to a different type of soul experience. You may be taken to meet your spiritual guides or loved ones who have passed. Or you might experience all or none of these. You will be taken to experience whatever it is you need most at this time. So it is really important not to have any expectations as this can ruin the experience for you. It’s also important to trust that your Higher Self wants to help you understand, heal and move forward in a better way.

Trust Yourself

To get the most from your session, it is also really important that you trust yourself. You must trust whatever it is you are seeing, hearing or experiencing and that you are not simply making everything up. The conscious mind, our ego, often tries to convince us that we are imagining it all because our Higher Self communicates with us using our imagination. That does not mean that it’s not real. Your very first thought is your intuition, your soul’s whisper and it is always right.

Talk, Talk, Talk

The hypnosis part of your session is recorded to let you listen back so it’s important that you trust the very first thing that you sense and describe it to me in as much detail as you possibly can. I will ask you questions to help you do this. As you talk, the experience develops and you will be able to sense more of whatever is happening. Your conscious mind might try to butt in and the best thing to do is just ignore it and concentrate on the experience you are having. Trusting yourself makes this much easier to do.

Your Higher Self

During the second part of the hypnosis, I will ask your Higher Self to step fully forward into your awareness so that we can ask them to make sense of your experiences. Why they chose to take you to those experiences in particular and what they want you to learn from them? I might also ask them to conduct a body scan and report on their findings, asking them to heal any health issues you might have, if that is appropriate.

Healing

Healing is absolutely possible, but it is not guaranteed. The desire to heal must come from within. If there is a deeper reason or lesson behind the illness or condition, healing may not occur until it is resolved or understood. The Higher Self always acts for your greatest good but will never go against your free will. So you remain in control at all times. During this part of the session I will also ask your pre-prepared questions along with any questions that might have arisen during our chat. I will also ask the Higher Self to give you guidance on how can maintain this link with them in your day-to-day life.

Trust Your Intuition

Again, it is really important that you trust yourself and the thoughts and senses that you are receiving. Your Higher Self will not be a disembodied voice that we hear from the great beyond. They will continue to communicate to you by way of thoughts which may be visual or auditory, or you may just feel that you know the answer. And again, the very first thing that comes into your mind is the correct answer and I need you to say it aloud so that everything is on your recording. Your answers will also guide my questions so that you get as full an understanding of everything as possible.

Keyword

Sometimes, the Higher Self will recommend that you have another session to enable you to have a deeper dive into any specific issue or to cover another aspect or aspects if additional time is needed to do so. If this is suggested by your Higher Self, I will ask you to give me a keyword that with your explicit permission, can be used to allow you to go more quickly into an altered state of consciousness in any future sessions. This is not something that is asked as standard and is left entirely for you to consider. There is absolutely no obligation to have another session if you do give me a keyword, it simply leaves the option open for you.

Post-Session Discussion

When you have received all the information that you need to help you positively move forward in your life, I will count you out and let you come round. We will then have a short discussion about your experience and the answers that you received. You might want to bring a piece of fruit or some chocolate to eat at this point as that helps to bring you back into your body and ground you. This is particularly important if you are going to be driving afterwards.

Recording of Your Session

Within 3 working days of your session, I will send you your recording via WhatsApp or a link to your recording via email that you should download as soon as possible as it will only be available for a few days.

Online Sessions

Online sessions allow you to relax in the comfort of your own home. You can sit on any comfortable chair for the interview part of the session. However, you will need to be somewhere where you can lie down or be reclined comfortably during the hypnotic regression. Your bed is ideal. It needs to be somewhere you’ll remain comfortable for 2-3 hours so have additional cushions to help you get into the most comfortable position. A pillow under your knees can take the pressure off your back when you’re lying on your back. Please ensure that you will not be disturbed during the session, particularly if there will be other people in your home while the session is underway. Please also make sure that your pets won’t disturb you either.

Technical Information

Online sessions are held using ZOOM, an easy web-based video meeting system. You must have Zoom installed on your device. Having a headset or ear buds with microphone attached available is important. You will ideally have a laptop with working camera but you could use a larger tablet with a camera providing it is securely supported. I need to be able to see a minimum of the top half of your body during the regression to keep an eye on your body. I will send you a personalised LINK for our session the day before the appointment. Please ensure your equipment is fully charged.

Please practice using Zoom and test out all of your equipment and your internet connection with a friend BEFORE our session! You will not want to spend our valuable session time focusing on your equipment.

BQH Session Aftercare Advice

Please take the time to read this aftercare advice carefully.

Immediately After Your Session

Eating a snack and drinking water immediately after your session will help to ground you back into your body and stop the ‘spaced-out’ feeling that many experience following a BQH session. We will have a post-hypnosis chat about what you experienced during your session and you will be free to leave when I am convinced that you are fully back and able to safely carry on the rest of your day. This is particularly important if you are driving afterwards.

The Next Few Hours and Days

Following your session, eating a light meal will ground you fully back into your body. Many people feel refreshed and energised following their session. However, it’s possible that you will feel tired and want to sleep but please only do this after you have eaten so that you awake feeling refreshed and not discombobulated.

The healing that you received will continue for at least the next 3 days while the connection to Higher Self remains heightened. This will mostly occur while you are sleeping or during meditation when your conscious mind quietens down. To enhance the healing effect on your body, please follow this advice over the next few days.

• Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. This assists the body’s detoxification processes.

• Avoid strenuous exercise, over-exertion and as far as you can, any stressful situations immediately after a session, as this may undo all the good work the BQH has achieved! Rest will help your body to integrate the healing received.

• Diet—Avoid eating a heavy meal after the session, eat lighter meals while the body is using its energy for detoxification and healing. Avoid unhealthy, highly processed foods.

• Smoking, Caffeine & Alcohol—All 3 have a dehydrating effect on the body and hinder the body’s detoxification processes. Try to avoid or at least reduce these immediately after the session and during the 3-day post-session healing window.

General Health and Wellbeing

The advice above is important to follow after your BQH session, but we should all be trying to live as healthy a lifestyle as we can for lasting benefits. The following advice is general common sense.

  • Avoid unhealthy and addictive habits.
  • Exercise regularly (within your own capability and don’t overdo it).
  • Eat a balanced diet with as much fresh vegetables and fruit as you can.
  • Make sure you take time for yourself to do something you enjoy.
  • Take time to rest and relax.
  • Consider Meditation, even in a very simple form. It will help you to reconnect with your Higher Self as well as helping you to relax and focus your life.

I recommend a continued healthy diet and lifestyle for lasting health and wellbeing.

General Reactions following Holistic Therapies and Healing

Different people will experience different responses or reactions, and some may not feel anything at all. Healing therapies often take time to realign your energy system and ease any physical or emotional symptoms.

Notice Any Changes

In the hours and days following your treatment, notice any changes you may be experiencing. It’s not uncommon to forget things so it can be helpful to make a written note of changes or sensations. Notice how you are feeling emotionally and for how long you feel that way. If you were experiencing physical pain before your treatment, are you still feeling it as strongly. Notice if any symptoms you were experiencing have intensified or lessened and for how long you feel this difference. If you were feeling physically or mentally drained, how are you feeling now. Every BQH session is unique and you are likely to react differently to each one so taking note of any physical, mental, emotional or spiritual changes, big or small, will allow you to track any changes to see how each individual session has affected you personally.

Potential Reactions to Healing

Quantum healing differs from other healing modalities in that the Higher Self will often describe and explain how any healing received will affect you personally. As such, the following information is provided as general guidance for how you could potentially respond to the session.

The following reactions may occur and are completely normal:

  • An initial feeling of increased energy, or conversely, an initial feeling of tiredness due to the release of toxins.
  • Relief from stress and muscular tension.
  • Aching in the muscles due to release of toxins and nerve fibres responding to the treatment.
  • An increased feeling of relaxation, calm and tranquillity.
  • Some clients may feel emotional and tearful afterwards. When we relax, we allow our emotions to surface before releasing them, this is a healthy reaction and nothing to be alarmed about.
  • Feeling of heightened awareness and clarity in mental thought.
  • Also, some physical symptoms or old illnesses/conditions may appear for a short time which are being cleared out of your body where they have been lying dormant. This healing event often referred to as a ‘healing crisis’, and is perfectly normal. It is a sign of an energetic shift and shows that the therapy is working for you.

I am trained and qualified in the therapies and treatments I offer but I do not claim to treat or cure medical conditions. What Now? Session Recording and Integration

Within 3 business days of your session, I will send you you a MP3 file or WeTransfer link that you should download as soon as possible, as the link expires in a few days. You should listen back to your recording to get the most from your session as often as you were advised by your Higher Self or feel it would benefit. Every time that you do, you will gain new insights and answers. To see positive change in your life, you have to follow the advice, as it is specific to you and your circumstances. You are responsible for co-creating your own reality and your Higher Self can only assist you if you participate in the process and make any changes required.

Remember, your session doesn’t end when you leave me, your work has really only just begun. Of course, you have your own free will and it’s entirely up to you whether you follow the advice and put the points raised during the session into action. You can always choose to remain exactly where you are. Choose wisely, your future self will thank you.
