What are Crystals?
Crystals are one of Mother Earth’s beautiful gifts. They form through Earth’s dynamic processes within the crust over millennia. Crystals consist of repeating patterns of atoms that are bonded together in highly organised lattices to form distinct geometric shapes. The flat faces can be arranged into points, cubes or prisms. The lattice structure of the atoms and molecules allow crystals to store and transmit energy. The composition of each crystal is dependent on the environmental conditions and minerals present during their formation. These give crystals their unique shape, colour and metaphysical properties.
Crystals are also believed to hold the wisdom of the Earth through a form of consciousness. They are seen as extensions of Gaia’s living, energetic essence, Earth’s own consciousness. This consciousness enhances the metaphysical properties of crystals. Each one vibrates at a stable, specific frequency and this energy can be felt by those sensitive to subtle energies. I am one of those people.
How is Crystal Energy used?
Crystal energy is used for a variety of purposes, including healing, protection, cleansing, manifesting and spiritual connection. Every type of crystal has a unique energetic fingerprint, which interacts with the energy systems of the body and the environment in specific ways. This also gives crystals their specific metaphysical properties. Knowing what these energetic and metaphysical properties are, as well as how to use crystals as effective tools, is therefore fundamental for those working with crystal energy. Crystals can be placed or carried on and around the body, within a person’s energy field or aura in order to promote physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing. This results in a person feeling more balanced and grounded, with an improved sense of well-being and better spiritually connected. Crystals can also be placed on a crystal grid with a specific intention in mind. A crystal grid can remain in place for longer periods of time, so it’s ideal for manifestation and protection purposes. What to Expect
Reiki with Crystal Energy
In each Reiki with crystal energy session, we start with a quick a chat to discover your specific needs at that particular time. I then intuitively choose the appropriate crystals to work with. During an in-person session, I place those crystals on and/or around your body as you lie on the therapy bed. During an online session, I choose the appropriate crystals and set up a crystal grid. The intention for that grid is that you receive the crystal energy along with the Reiki energy as you lie relaxing in the comfort of your own home. You then receive your Reiki treatment as normal and the crystals are removed at end of the session. Although it’s not known exactly how it works, just that it does, time and distance are irrelevant when working with energies and
Crystal Energy Grid
In each 30-minute Crystal Energy Grid session, we also start with a quick chat to discover your particular needs at that specific time. The appropriate crystals are then intuitively chosen and a crystal grid set up with your intention for the session. We then finish off by discussing the initial steps you can take to move forward and realise your goal. The crystal energy is not a “magic bullet” that will make things happen without any involvement from you. You need to take part in the process, with the crystal energy supporting you to do that. But you’re not alone, I will guide you so that you leave the session feeling empowered.
